This landscape was designed prior to the pool installation, and sees the pool become a feature of the garden. The pool required a large retaining wall, and functionality has been carefully balanced with design elements. The retaining wall and pool fencing draw on the features of the modern architectural home to ensure a cohesive style, while creating a statement for street appeal.
Kitchener Road
Visual interest has been created with recessed pockets of planting in front of the wall and throughout the pool area, both softening the wall through the introduction of different textures and providing splashes of colour. The street view of the home enjoys an oriental style garden, utilising large boulders and weeping maples.
