Whangapouri Road, Karaka
This large Hinuera stone home cut an imposing figure in the landscape and needed a design that would do it justice. A large home needs a large driveway, and the entry shape was important to ensure sufficient space for both residents and guests, without dominating the outlook.
Hinuera stone was used throughout the landscape design to tie it back to the building and the strong, vibrant colours used in the cottage style gardens make a strong visual statement. Raised vegetable gardens are finished with pebbles carefully selected to complement the distinctive Hinuera stone.
