Glenbrook Road, Karaka
Our design for this modern architectural house in Karaka took this from a new build on a bare site to a finished home that was settled into its rural environment. A family home, the design features a generous playground, pool, an orchard and vegetable gardens.
Natural boulders and native planting have been used to visually anchor the home into its environment. The elevated site is exposed, so the landscape includes plants that that can thrive in these conditions in the short term along with those that will create shelter in the longer term.
